Rebuild and enhance an outdated application using a new backend with PostgreSQL and jquery. Design a revamped front-end with modern functionality using javascript. The goal is to change the application into a fast and reliable SaaS offering that is accessible to users who struggle with complex technology. Designed for Mobile-First.

This organization primarily operated as a startup. They utilized software acquired from a legacy company that was ceasing operations, effectively entering the market through this purchase. The product they acquired was developed in the early 2000s. Nearly all of the CSS was embedded directly within the HTML files, and a significant amount of early Coldfusion was implemented.
I presented Vue.js to the team. It offers a more concise approach and can render designs more efficiently than Angular, and it is less technical than React, which allows for easier management after the contract was completed.

I was developing an application intended for individuals in the public sector, including police, fire departments, EMS, and administrative personnel. Therefore, the application needed to be designed with a simple and HCI-focused approach.
